This Homeless Man's Response is AMAZING.

This is probably one of my weak spots in my heart -- those who are less fortunate than I.  I have had many experiences with homeless people, and I help whenever I can.
Yes, some are drug addicts, and some alcoholics.  But there are some who are there through no fault of their own.  Some are in that situation due to poor choices, and still others just can't catch a break.
I live by this belief: "At any given moment in my life, I could have made a decision that could have put me in the same position as that homeless person."  If I were in their shoes, how would I want to be treated?

The Bible says this in Matthew 25: 34-40:
“Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’
“Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’
“The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me."

A famous comedian by the name of Red Skelton had a character that he would play by the name of Freddie Freeloader.  He was a hobo with a kind heart.  Years ago I heard Red play this skit on TV, and a line from the performance is so amazing and so true that I have never forgotten it.  Red is describing Freddie in the third-person and he says this line about his character: "He is nice to everyone because he was taught that man is made in God's image.   He never met God in person and the next fella just might be him."
Below is a video of one of the most amazing acts of kindness -- not from the man giving the money to this homeless man, but the response that the homeless man had.  They are human beings.  They love, they feel, they hurt and they need to see God's love in their lives.
I was stunned when I saw it.  Don't forget: -- you might be talking to God disguised as a homeless man someday.  So be kind.
