“Let your light so shine before men”
Matthew 5:16
Hello, my name is Alex Aleman.
First, please allow me to say thank you for taking the time to read this introduction. It will familiarize you with our ministry as well as myself. By the end of this letter I hope to have answered any questions as to who we are, what we believe in and what we are all about.
I am a native of Georgia. Born and raised in the Atlanta area. The Lord so chose to bless me with Christian parents as well and Christian grandparents who taught me the word as I grew. He did not stop there. I was also afforded the chance to go to Christian private school, where I could receive a great education, not only in academics but also in the Word of God. Needless to say, I have been in the instruction of the Word of God all my life.
At the age of 14 my brother began to play guitar which sparked an interest in me as well. Before I knew what had happened, I began to write music and soon was playing piano. The Lord has given me many songs of love and emotion that a teenage boy would feel at that point in life. Later, He began to bring me songs of praise and worship and continues to do so to this day.
By God's grace, I have been given the opportunity to lead worship many times and enjoy bringing the people of God into His presence. There is something about ushering the spirit of God into a worship service that will never get tiresome to me. Whether it’s at a youth rally or at a Sunday morning service, or maybe at a revival, it’s a chance to experience God face to face once again.
I have to say that one of the things I love to do most is to preach the Word of God. To have the opportunity to share the Word with someone who may not know Jesus is a chance I do not take lightly. It is a great responsibility, but to bring someone to the Lord carries a great reward and satisfaction to know that one more soul has found eternal life.
At the age of 30, the Lord answered my prayers when I asked Him to show me what He wanted from my life. And so began the ministry of Mission Lighthouse that you see here today.
It started with my good friend David Brown, a Jewish man who converted to Christianity after experiencing a Christmas special at Mt Carmel Christian Church. He was visiting with his wife Amy Brown and felt the Lord's call on his life. He accepted the call and gave his life to the Lord. He began Mission Lighthouse Ministry originally as Lighthouse Marketing and Publishing but felt it was not being used to its full potential. I had been praying to God for direction on a name for the ministry and after a brief conversation with David, we decided to join forces and give Mission Lighthouse Ministry a new direction. So here we are, working together in the service of the Lord.
Mission Lighthouse Ministry believes that the Bible is the infallible Word of God. Absolute in authority; and, without question, alive with power and love. Not to say that there are not several interpretations of the Bible, which is where we get our different religious views we see in our society, but still the Word of God nonetheless. We believe that the only way to experience an eternity with Christ in a very real heaven is to first: believe in the sacrifice of Jesus when He gave His life on the cross for the forgiveness of our sins, and to accept that free gift of salvation which He made possible by doing so. It is not by our own works that we can gain salvation, but through faith alone that Jesus Christ is the son of the living God. Jesus in obedience to the Father came to earth and was made flesh as a man to die on Calvary. He was sinless and blameless, the perfect sacrifice, and paid the price for all sin. This was something only He could do and something that He did for us because He loves us so much.
Second: The story doesn't end there. On the third day, after His death, He rose from that grave to show His power over death so that death would no longer have a hold on us. As the old hymn says, “Because He lives, I can face tomorrow.”
When someone believes in Jesus, the sacrifice of Calvary, and asks for forgiveness for their sins, the Holy Spirit comes to life inside of them to guide them for the rest of there lives. That person who was at one time spiritually dead is now alive.
Third: We believe that every believer should demonstrate a public confession of faith by baptism. John the Baptist did not baptize in secret, Jesus did not die in secret. So to show that ones belief is real we believe that one should be baptized in front of witnesses to demonstrate that faith.
Fourth: The walk. Salvation should be accompanied by changes and fruits. Some changes after salvation are drama. The alcoholic who never drinks again, the drug user that never uses again. Then again some changes are so slight that they are only seen by intimate members of ones family. But nonetheless there is a change in a saved person that only God can create. You should also see some fruits of salvation. Again here it can range from Billy Graham who brings hundreds of thousands to the Lord, to the person who helps the elderly lady to the car with the groceries; something that shows a difference to a lost world.
Fifth: Prayer and Study. Here it’s very simple. The only way that we as Christians can continue in a close walk with God is to study His Word and talk with the Lord daily.
So what is Mission Lighthouse Ministry about? What is it that we are doing to expand the kingdom? We are a well rounded ministry with no other desire than to bring people to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.
So how do we accomplish this? By doing what the Bible commanded us to do. It says in Matthew 28:19-20: “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. And teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."
As a ministry we can bring a variety of services to your congregation. We tried to come up with a way of listing all the different services without writing a paragraph for each so below is a list with a description of each category. For further information or if you don’t see what you need, please call and give us the opportunity to see if we can accommodate your specific need.

Guest Speaker:
Here it’s very simple. I enjoy bringing an on fire, straight- to- the- point message. Whether given a specific topic or asked to just bring what the Lord leads, I love talking and teaching on the subject of God. Nothing makes me happier than to see someone come to know the Lord for the first time or help mature Christians deepen there walk with Christ. This list is pretty much the same as above.
